It had very central location close to San Gregorio Armeno Church. What's more, it was very close to the Central Station and the port, Byzantine ruins, and the most important sights, including the Archeology Museum, and bus transport...

Stayed here for 3 nights, the hotel was wonderful and fairly clean, had romantic views, brilliant location in that square. The staff were very kind and nice and the atmosphere was quiet. The room was quiet, bright with a good size bathroom. The beds with hypo-allergenic pillows were big.

The place is clean, the service is welcoming, and the staff is accommodating and polite, with fabulous food and a new-fashioned king room in a simple Mediterranean style; plus, it's conveniently located just 10 km away from Capodichino airport.

Hotel Neapolis is located at the very centre of the city and just round the corner you can find Pizzeria SORBILLO where you can taste the best pizza in the world (really!). The room was clean, nice, large enough and the Internet for free were very comfortable so we were very surprised that the price for one double room was only 65 EUR. Also the breakfast was good.
We had only one problem and that was with bed. The sheets were very clean but the matress had a strange shape so we couldn't sleep on it because during all night we were constantly sliding off.

The location of the hotel is superb. It is close to many good local restaurants, pizzerias, shops and cafes. It is located in the most typical Neopolitan neighborhood. Having a computer in the room, with Internet, was an added bonus.
On Booked.net, the room that we chose was advertised as having a jacuzzi, however when we checked in, we found out that only 2 of the 6 "superior double" rooms have a jacuzzi, which was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was basic and not varied, no fresh fruit ever and not even yogurt some days. The hotel staff was friendly when approached (cleaning and breakfast staff) but the staff at the desk hardly even spoke a single word to us when we entered and left the hotel during our stay. We were cold the first night and requested more blankets and pillows, which was not understood by the staff and only pillows were provided. The heating system must be manually turned on and off using a remote (the same as the air conditioning) which was annoying.
